Logic & state map
How your story flows — and what it remembers
Numbers on top are the pages. Boxes show what happens; pills show the state. Solid arrows go forward; the dashed arc loops back.
Logic & state map · hub
A hub you keep returning to
The player explores the exhibits in any order, coming back to the Lobby each time. Once all three are seen, the gate to the Finale opens.
Logic & state map · linear
A straight-through story — no branches, no loops
The simplest shape: one page after the next. State pills still show what is remembered; a reveal is an in-page interaction, not a branch.
Logic & state map · loops
A story with two loops
Two retry points send the player back. When loops overlap, they stack in lanes below — the wider loop sits deeper — so the dashed arcs never cross.
Logic & state map · multi-ending
A choice with different endings
Here the arms do not rejoin — each choice is its own ending. The choice is remembered (path) and each ending reflects it.
